To the editor:
Public records show that there are ongoing multiple OPRA (Open Public Records Act) requests being made to our school district for meeting minutes, bus routes, contracts, curriculum documents and various other information by one person, Rhona Wulf, wife of Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education member, Jim Wulf.
The administrative offices are spending untold time and effort gathering and copying this information for Mrs. Wulf. Interestingly, baseless accusations using distorted facts from these records continue to show up in the newspapers.
It appears the Wulfs either have a personal agenda or are running a political smear campaign. Either motive is counterproductive to tackling the important issues concerning our children’s’ education. Mr. Wulf needs to roll up his sleeves, learn what his responsibilities are as a board member, and leave the swift-boat tactics for April, if he must.

Since when is exercising your right to freedom of information an immoral or wasteful act? If the school board were more forthcoming, Ms. Wulf and all the others who have filed OPRA requests wouldn't have to bother. And how does Weeks know who is filing what Freedom of Information form? This kind of slander -- now they're hunting down the wives for criticism -- is a thin attempt at muzzling those in the community who dare to stand up to the school board and its questionable practices.
